In this hilarious short story, Junot Diaz playfully explains his unconventional romance with Alma, a hotter than fire type of woman - both in looks and in temper. As the story carefully unfolds, the author describes his woman as a bombshell, the kind that you see in magazines. She has all the right curves in all the right places. He adores her, her typical latina attitude, in such an atypical type of manner. He is vulgar, raw and uses a handful of expletives. In the end, Junot Diaz's romance meets it's fateful end as his girlfriend discovers his journal and his deepest, darkest secret: he has another girlfriend - Guyanese Laxmi. She throws the journal in his face and our author loses it all.
